An update from fellowship graduate, Kwabena Agbedinu:
"Colorectal cancer is the second most common cancer worldwide, and its incidence is increasing rapidly in LMICs including Ghana. Our research proposal to screen staff of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for colorectal cancer as well as promote colorectal cancer awareness among staff was accepted by the KATH Grant Award Committee, and we received a grant to carry out the study. We say a big thank you to the management of KATH for this support. This work will go a long way to promote colorectal cancer awareness among staff and their relatives."
